This list is updated regularly with details of the latest courses available to access for health professionals in the region.

Paediatric Cardiac Nursing  Forum 9.30am-10.15am via MS Teams. Drop-in sessions will run on the last Monday of each month throughout the year. It is an opportunity for nurses within the network in both acute and community settings to learn more about cardiac conditions, discuss their learning needs and meet with colleagues across the region. Topics of the day will include PIMS-TS, Staff survival- factors influencing burnout, National PEWS implementation and Long Term Ventilation. The full agenda will be circulated closer to the time.

Regional Paediatric Advanced Cardiac Nursing Programme. Hosted at UHS.

Some funded places will be available from the network for nurses to attend.

Dates and agenda TBC. 

This course is designed for staff working in Tertiary Paediatric Cardiac centres and any staff who have a significant role caring for children with congenital cardiac defects and would like to develop an in-depth knowledge on the anatomy, physiology and care required for children with CHD.

Are you interested in learning more about CHD and becoming a champion for children with CHD within your team or trust?

If so please get in touch and we will provide you with our link nurse guide and you will receive email updates about training and education developments to share with your colleagues. Our link nurse forum will run twice a year so that you can meet other nurses in the region who are caring for children with CHD.
