Network Board

The Thames Valley and Wessex Operational Delivery Network geography includes two main hub-sites, Southampton and Oxford, with the team working as one between both centres to ensure that children and adults with congenital heart disease receive the benefits of the concentrated expertise that complex surgery and intervention requires, while maintaining the maximum possible range of tertiary services at Oxford.

The regional level one unit is based at University Hospital Southampton (Southampton General, Southampton Children’s and the Princess Anne hospitals) and the regional level two unit is based at Oxford University Hospitals (the John Radcliffe Hospital).  

Local hospitals served from Oxford are in green and those served by Southampton in red.
